FAQ
Questions we actually get
Short answers, with links to the full detail. The method and data-ethics pages are the source of truth for every data claim.
The data
Where does the data come from?
From public job boards and ATS pages we observe directly. Every result is a real
posting tagged with the board it was detected on, never inferred intent. The
method page states the sample, the
deduplication rule and the known biases. Data ethics
states what we hold and what we do not publish.
How fresh is it?
The corpus refreshes every 3 hours across 7 regions. A webhook fires when a new matching
posting is detected, typically hours after it goes live.
Is LinkedIn included?
Yes, as a public source. LinkedIn's public job listings are one of the boards we
read, alongside ATS career pages, other public job boards and aggregators. What we
read there is the public advertisement, the same as on any other board. Each row's
boards names its source. The terms
state the full data guarantee.
How are duplicates handled?
Repeat and re-posted advertisements collapse to one row per company, job title and
country. The most complete row is kept. The exact partition rule is published on the
method page.
What does a 'no signal' answer mean?
A company with no ATS or board coverage answers with
coverage_status: "no_ats_signal". That means "unknown", not "not hiring".
Payloads say so explicitly. Do not score absence of coverage as a negative signal.
Billing & limits
What am I actually charged for?
A watch bills when your endpoint accepts a delivered change. Failed or duplicate
deliveries cost nothing. Metering runs after the acknowledgement, exactly once.
Searches bill per sourced company row ($0.10 each). An empty result costs nothing.
Full detail on pricing.
Can usage run away while I sleep?
No. Every self-serve plan has a hard spend cap already set. The soft cap warns,
the hard cap stops. Free and Trial stop at 10,000 units, Starter at
25,000, Growth at 100,000.
What are the rate limits?
Per API key, per fixed 60-second window: Free 20, Trial 100,
Starter 500, Growth 2,000 requests. Every response carries
RateLimit-Limit, RateLimit-Remaining and
RateLimit-Reset headers. Past the budget you get a 429 with
Retry-After.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Signup grants 14 days of 10,000 calls per rolling 24 hours. It is a grant, not a
plan: no card, no monthly price. The free tier under it is permanent.
Do I need a demo call? Is there an enterprise plan?
No call, ever. Every plan is bought in the console. An enterprise annual commit exists,
with no form and no meeting. Start self-serve and the option opens inside the account
when your usage warrants it.
Integrations
How does it plug into my stack?
Four ways, same data: signed webhooks (push), REST (pull), a Clay integration (rows in a
table), and an MCP server your agents call directly. The
quickstart gets you to a first signal in
about 5 minutes; recipes are complete
plays for Clay, n8n and MCP.
Can I try it without signing up?
There is no keyless mode, but signup is instant: no card and no call. The API key
is on screen right after signup. The free tier is permanent and the 14-day trial
needs no card. Point your agent at the MCP server with the same key and it can
try every tool.
How do I verify webhook deliveries?
Set a secret when you register the endpoint. Verify the
X-Plane-Signature header on each delivery. Registration is idempotent:
the same URL returns the same endpoint id, so retries never create duplicates.
